Start by using the Cookie Scanner to analyze your website for cookies, scripts, and embedded services:

  • Automatically detect all services in use.
  • Identify potential GDPR compliance issues.
  • Generate a detailed report highlighting all cookies and their purposes.

Once the services are detected, turn to the Cookie Database for detailed information if needed:

  • Understand each service’s functionality and privacy implications.
  • Customize configurations to fit the specific needs of your website.

Integrate your findings using the Cookie Manager:

  • Import detected services from the scanner into the manager automatically.
  • Unknown services can be manually configured using the Cookie Database or your own research.
  • Use Autoconfiguration to set up services with minimal effort.
    • Do not forget to add your unique variables like your Google Tag Manager (GTM) ID or Analytics ID, in the Variable-Provider of the Cookie Manager and the rest is handled for you.
  • Manage scripts, cookies, and iframes by respecting user consent. Services like YouTube videos or analytics will only load after the user has given consent.
